You will collaborate with Bell-Labs researchers and Alcatel-Lucent divisions to design cutting-edge ICs operating in the mm-Wave frequencies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in millimeter-wave circuit design, RF, microwave techniques, and high-frequency measurements. We are looking for a talented individual who will lead research in the design and development of high-frequency and broadband integrated circuits for both wireless and wireline applications. As part of the team, you will:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in ultra-high frequency and ultra broadband integrated circuit design
- Collaborate with Bell-Labs researchers and Alcatel-Lucent business divisions to define novel architectures
- Design and simulate high-performance integrated circuits operating in mm-Wave frequencies
- Utilize your expertise in millimeter-wave circuit design and testing
- Perform high-frequency measurements and characterize state-of-the-art IC's
- Stay up to date with current wireless and wireline modulation formats and transceiver architectures

You have:
- Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience and publications in designing, layout, and testing ultra-high-speed analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits implemented in nano-scale CMOS and SiGe BiCMOS technologies.
- Experience in designing, modeling, and simulating millimeter-wave wireless and transceivers, data converters, and PLLs.
- Experience in high-speed circuit simulation and characterization using Cadence Spectre, Agilent ADS, or GoldenGate and 3D EM simulators.
- Experience in system modeling and system requirement analysis using Matlab or Cadence.
- Experience in mm-wave testing and characterization using a network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, high-speed oscilloscope, etc.
- Excellent English verbal communication and technical writing skills.
