Robert Half Contracts Support Associate in New Providence, New Jersey

Description

We are on the hunt for a Contracts Support Associate to join our client's team in the New Providence, New Jersey area. In this role you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, you will manage customer applications, maintain customer records, monitor customer accounts, and address any customer inquiries related to contracts in an efficient and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications within the contracts department.

• Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis.

• Monitor customer accounts for any discrepancies or issues that may arise.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding contracts and provide necessary support.

• Use Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report on customer data.

• Work collaboratively with co-managers and the team to ensure smooth operations.

• Train and become proficient in using the Cobblestone system for contract management.

• Continually update contract records and ensure their accuracy in the system.

• Assist in the administration of contracts and insurance-related tasks.

• Liaise between customers and the contracts department, ensuring clear and effective communication

Requirements

• Should possess a strong understanding of contracts

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong problem solving, and analytical skills are necessary

• Previous experience in a wholesale distribution industry is a plus

• Must possess a high level of integrity and confidentiality

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Good organizational and time management skills are essential

• Must be able to interpret and analyze contract terms and conditions

• Knowledge of contract administration principles and practices is preferred

• Experience with contract negotiation is advantageous
