We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in NEW LONDON, Connecticut. This role involves overseeing various financial operations, from managing accounting functions to conducting variance analysis. You will be based in our office and be part of a team that is committed to delivering top-tier financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily accounting functions

• Conduct inventory accounting and variance analysis

• Handle capital management and budget processes

• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

• Implement auditing processes to ensure financial compliance

• Evaluate business systems and provide financial insights

• Monitor and manage asset inventory, including fixed assets and equipment

• Analyze manufacturing processes for financial efficiency

• Drive KPI reporting and performance measurement

• Participate in inventory cycles and contribute to process improvements

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Business Systems and Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Budget Processes

• Strong understanding of Capital Management and Manufacturing processes

• Experience in Asset Inventory, Fixed Asset Inventory, and Equipment Inventory

• Familiarity with Inventory cycles

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Variance Analysis and KPI Reporting

• Must be legally eligible to work in the job location

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are highly desirable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
