Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in New London, Connecticut

Description We are offering an employment opportunity in NEW LONDON, Connecticut, for a Help Desk Analyst II. This role primarily involves providing technical support and maintaining the performance of workstations and LAN in the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.

• Identify technical issues by thoroughly researching and analyzing user queries.

• Guide clients through detailed, step-by-step solutions to their technical problems.

• Contribute to the development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending appropriate instructional language.

• Ensure compliance with service agreements to avoid legal challenges.

• Enhance system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

• Contribute to the organization's mission by completing related results as needed.

• Utilize 'Active Directory' as part of the role to manage user accounts and troubleshoot issues. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role in an IT department is required.

• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Active Directory is a must.

• Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

• Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• IT certifications in Microsoft, Linux, or similar technologies will be an advantage. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
