Who we are looking for

This position is located full-time, onsite within our Re:Build Manufacturing facility in New Kensington, PA. In response to growth in our product offering and a strategic expansion of our capabilities, the Team at RBNK is growing and seeking to fill the position of Assembly Technician.

What you get to do

  • Lead, mentor and work hand-in-hand with a small team of highly skilled machinists and operators
  • Be a conduit between manufacturing engineering and production personnel; support and align both teams
  • Installs/assembles various components, sub-assemblies, and hardware by following written & electronic drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Maintains inventory of components, hardware and other necessary department items.
  • Organize assembly area and maintain assembly equipment and tooling.
  • Contribute ideas and subject matter expertise to the continuous improvement of both the process and documentation
  • Communicates with Management, Team leads, Operators, Quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality and process issues
  • Completes legibly all reports and other associated paperwork

What you bring to the Team

  • High school diploma or GED is Required
  • Associates degree in Electronics, Assembly or related field preferred (experience is an acceptable be substitute for a degree)
  • 3+ Years of manufacturing/industrial setting leadership.
  • Can provide direction, support (hands-on), and any additional help to ensure team and success
  • Can read a basic drawing and work instructions.
  • Demonstrates in-process inspection competence.
  • Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
  • Has both mechanical and technical capacity.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
