The Day to Day:


  • Exceed minimum sales expectation

  • Develop market strategy and scheduling in collaboration with RSEM to maximize retail sell through with an emphasis on LY liabilities

  • Effectively plan and execute new product launches with in store activity to drive retail sales

  • Plan, schedule and execute events in key opportunity doors utilizing event strategy and assets to drive incremental retail sales and brand awareness

  • Identify and establish key relationships with Centers of Influence in each store that directly impact brand business

  • Quarterly comprehensive business review with elevated leadership to include RSEM

  • Responsible for strategic management of freelance budgeting, scheduling and productivity to drive incremental sales

  • Ensure store are properly merchandised for maximum visual exposure according to Merchandising guidelines and Retail POG

  • Responsible for T & E budget compliance and accurate weekly submission

  • Responsible for daily recap with “Go Spot Check”

  • Attendance of and participation in weekly team conference calls and 1x1 with RSEM


  • Effectively communicate strong level of understanding of Murad Brand Plan, Marketing Strategy, new launches and current trends in marketplace to positively impact business

  • Strategic focus on raising brand rank and seeking out competitive information to gain market share in the territory

  • Cultivate brand loyalty amongst retailer employees through impactful education, strategic partnerships and effective scheduling

  • Provide appropriate feedback to RSEM and Senior Field Education Manager regarding the effectiveness of Murad strategies, trainings, selling tools, and products

  • Analyze and communicate stock concerns to appropriate retail partner and RSEM to ensure accurate stock levels and avoid OOS

  • Communicate and follow up regarding updates to ensure timelines are met


  • Generate enthusiasm and brand loyalty through the passionate execution of in store training utilizing various education tools

  • Ensure that Murad offers the highest possible level of customer service by consistently using the Murad “INSPIRE” sales and service model

  • Successfully execute impactful NSO and GO trainings that resonate with retail teams

  • Schedule and execute monthly training visits at Sephora with a focus on inspiration and team selling

  • Consistent positive feedback via Sephora Brand Survey

  • Schedule monthly Ulta visits during peak times when essential Ulta consultants and management are available to train

  • Recruit, train and develop top tier freelance to cultivate best in class field team with long term bench candidates

  • Ensure thorough understanding of monthly primary and secondary training focuses

What you should bring:

  • Minimum 3-year multi-unit retail management experience

  • Proven strong sales and service track record

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively identify priorities

  • Highly developed business acumen

  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation

  • Consistent and reliable attendance

  • Familiarity with retailers: Sephora and Ulta preferred

  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality

  • Possess a personal vehicle to be utilized for business purposes

  • Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and cannot have any travel restrictions

  • Overnight travel required

  • Must have High School Diploma

  • College degree preferred

Physical Demands of the Job

  • 8-10 hours per day

  • 5 days per week

  • Schedule includes a minimum of 3 Saturdays per month. Must be flexible to adapt to reflect the needs of the business including weekends, evenings and holidays. One office day per month

  • 100% of time performing activity – presentation, assisted selling

  • 50% of the time performing activity - Lift/Lower/Carry 25-40lbs: Carry signs, boxes, etc.
