ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Process daily work orders Process customer orders to ship via carrier Keeps job area clean, safe, and organized Has the ability to retain knowledge and take notes to perform a task after being trained on that task Has the ability to learn more advanced tasks once familiar with the job Maintains tools and materials in a professional manner Develops improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities Daily cycle count and inventory reconciliation Investigate inventory inaccuracy Create/track performance metrics Assist in continuous improvement of the ERP system Assist with billing and load reconciliation Investigate orders that do not process correctly and correct the process Assist in continuous improvement of warehouse business processes Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports to warehouse supervisor and to the operations manager WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required Experience and/or Training: Familiarity with basic research methods and reporting techniques Familiarity with vehicle maintenance products/small parts preferred Car wash install or other mechanical installation experience preferred Technology/Equipment: Sit-down and/or standup electrical and/or propane forklift experience preferred Walkie rider experience preferred Proficient in MS Office and "back-office" software (e.g. ERP) Proficient in DS/DSI or Zebra scan gun PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift heavy objects frequently-either independently or with a team member Must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperatures both indoor and outdoor WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Warehouse environment requiring steel-toe shoes, and, at times hearing and eye protection.
