Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Associate in the plastic fencing department. The role involves removing products from extrusion or coating lines, inspecting them for defects, matching products to orders, packing according to customer specifications, and loading products onto skids. The position includes placing protective materials to ensure products are not damaged during shipping, light assembly of parts, and accurately counting shipments. The Production Associate will assist in other departments as needed, operate a hand jack to move skids, and load/unload push carts to various production or staging areas. Inventory management through paper and computer documentation may also be required.

Responsibilities

  • Remove products from extrusion or coating lines.

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet order specifications and are defect-free.

  • Match products to orders and pack according to customer specifications.

  • Load products onto skids and place protective materials to prevent shipping damage.

  • Perform light assembly of parts as needed.

  • Accurately count and ensure shipments are complete.

  • Assist in other departments as required.

  • Operate a hand jack to move skids.

  • Load and unload push carts, moving them to various production or staging areas.

  • Manage inventory through paper and computer documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Basic packing and loading skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in packing, inspection, loading, staging products, unloading, stacking, assembly, and labeling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.25
