Core Duties & Responsibilities: * Accounting Operations: Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting functions for a diverse client base. * Month-End Procedures: Conduct month-end closings, including account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Financial Reporting: Prepare and review comprehensive monthly financial report packages tailored to client needs. * Tax Management: Oversee and manage sales tax and 1099 compliance, along with the preparation and review of personal and business tax returns. * Team Development: Contribute to the development, training, and mentoring of staff and interns, enhancing professional growth and expertise. * Client Relations: Build and maintain dynamic relationships with clients, providing strategic advice to support their financial goals. * Community Engagement: Actively participate in community-supported team building activities, promoting a collaborative and inclusive workplace. Requirements & Qualifications: * A minimum of 3-5 years of private or public accounting experience is required. * A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field. * Thorough knowledge of accounting concepts, generally accepted accounting principles and financial systems. * Must be detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication. * Exceptional time management abilities, proficient in multitasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines. * Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, or Gusto Payroll. * Progress towards completion of a CPA/EA or related certification.
