Community Wellness Partners Dining Room Supervisor in New Hartford, New York
Job Title : Dining Room Supervisor
Main Function: Ensure Dining Room Operations are running properly and efficiently
Reports To: General Manager
Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for scheduling, training, and evaluating dining room staff.
Approves time-cards and processes vacation and missed punch forms.
Ensures a clean dining room. Prepares the dining room for dinner service.
Is the point of contact for residents regarding any issues or accommodations for residents.
Ensures efficient service by assigning tasks and ensuring sections are equally distributed.
Helps to expedite the "to-go" orders by packaging and checking the order status.
Upon completion of the meal; will ensure that sidework and breakdown of the dining room is completed.
Helps to coordinate special events and holiday meals.
Ensure accurate input of charges to resident accounts utilizing P.O.S. system.
Assists with record keeping and filing of the dining room paperwork.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
Contacts : Contact with residents, families and guests. Contact with staff members from all departments.
Working Conditions: Modern kitchen, dining area and equipment.
Physical Demands : Walks/stands through entire shift.
Job Hazards : Normal kitchen hazards such as wet floors, cuts, burns, lifts trays.
Safety : Will follow safe work practices in accordance with housing complex health and safety policies.
