Position Overview:

Boeing Defense India team is currently looking for Sr. Manager -Supply Chain Management ( Boeing Defense India) to join their team in New Delhi, India.

As the Supply Chain manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain management for Boeing defense programs in India. This includes managing in-country procurement, asset management, and execution teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain management for Boeing defense programs in India.

  • Oversee in-country procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

  • Manage asset management processes, including inventory control, maintenance, and disposal.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the execution teams, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies and initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain function.

  • Create strong relationships and collaborate with other Boeing company supply chain teams in delivery of supply chain outcomes for Boeing Defense India.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION with 15 + years of relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and processes.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and regulations in India.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in relevant supply chain management software and tools.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and/or leading initiatives

  • Fluent in English

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically/internationally up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the defense industry.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+ 15 years' related work experience.

Relocation:

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
