ICF Intern Analyst – Transportation Electrification Aerial Imagery in New Delhi, India

We're seeking a highly motivated Transportation Electrification Aerial Imagery Analyst to join our innovative team! In this exciting role, you'll be a data detective, analyzing aerial imagery to identify commercial fleet vehicles across the US. This crucial information will be used to train cutting-edge AI and machine learning models, ultimately enabling the swift and accurate identification of vehicles in diverse geographic locations.

This full-time, paid position is available to current Bachelors or master’s level students, nearing graduation, and recent graduates seeking internships for a 3-month period in New Delhi. Our interns are provided with training to develop consulting skills as well as skillsets in the specific domain area, in an environment that fosters growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master GIS Analysis Tools : Undergo role-based training to become proficient in using our GIS platform.

  • Fuel AI Innovation : Analyze high-resolution aerial imagery across diverse US geographies to pinpoint the presence and location of commercial fleet vehicles, directly contributing to the creation of robust datasets for our AI and Machine Learning models.

  • Vehicle Classification Specialist : Employ meticulous data entry skills to categorize identified vehicles based on pre-defined standards, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the data used to train our AI/ML models.

  • Data Detective : Identify and document any discrepancies or data quality issues within the imagery analysis, proposing solutions and improvements to further enhance the training data for AI/ML models.

  • Collaborative Problem Solver : Actively participate in regular project team meetings, offering valuable insights and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives and continuously optimize the data analysis process.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, not limited to Architectural, Building Science, Energy Management, Energy Policy and Planning, or related subjects.

  • Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • A passion for the energy industry, with specific interest in electric vehicles

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Entry level work experience requirements

  • Experience with aerial imagery data handling

  • Experience with GIS analysis environment
