We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our AMS team in Cairo, Egypt.

As an AMS Product Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the technical development and deployment of the company’s mixed-signal products. You’ll tackle complex mixed-signal circuit simulation challenges, collaborating closely with our field applications and engineering teams to enhance the accuracy, performance, capacity, and functionality of these applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify high-value improvements and new functionalities in our tools.

  • Offer second-line technical support for new features, production ramp-up, and critical deployments.

  • Ensure optimal project requirements are met, particularly in deployment and quality.

  • Engage early adopters and ensure successful implementation of new features.

  • Develop high-quality training materials and lead training sessions for both field engineers and customers.

  • Help create and maintain dashboards to track issues and evaluate customer support effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with field engineers to understand customer problems and explore solutions.

  • Investigate root causes of simulator issues and related factors.

  • Develop and evaluate alternative solutions to overcome customer challenges.

  • Reproduce complex customer issues in smaller test environments.

  • Work with R&D to establish resolution timelines and manage customer expectations.

  • Analyze data to recommend software and process improvements.

  • Provide R&D with clear problem definitions and goals for development.

  • Represent Siemens at conferences, delivering demos and technical papers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Familiarity with Analog/Mixed-Signal/Digital verification tools is a plus.

  • Familiarity with AMS design environments, including Cadence ADE.

  • Preferably experienced in Unix/Linux environments.

  • Preferably experienced in designing and characterizing analog circuits, such as PLLs, ADC/DAC, and high-speed I/Os.

  • Familiarity with HDL languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS).

  • Experience with digital verification and advanced methodologies (e.g., UVM or UPF) is a plus.

  • Ability to work with a world-class, PhD-caliber development team.

  • Flexibility to work with remote teams across various geographies.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with raw data.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively.

  • We are looking for both Senior and Junior Engineers.
