The Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division of Siemens EDA is looking for a Frontend Development Engineer to join our DVT VIQ R&D team in Cairo, Egypt.

In this role, you'll immerse yourself in DVT technologies, working with extensive codebases to design, develop, and research advanced visualizations that simplify the debugging and analysis of complex data. You will also gain a deep understanding of the challenges faced by verification engineers, particularly as chip designs grow increasingly complex. As the demand for scalable tools and solutions rises, you will play a critical role in developing software solutions tailored to these needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and development teams to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

• Develop and maintain web applications using leading JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).

• Build dynamic, data-driven visualizations with D3.js.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews, offering feedback and continuously improving code quality.

• Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experiences across various devices.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and data visualization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience with a major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).

• Proficiency in D3.js for creating interactive data visualizations.

• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Basic knowledge of backend technologies and server-side languages, particularly Java, is a plus.

• Exposure to full-stack development and a willingness to expand skills in backend technologies is a plus.

• Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical ideas.

• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

• A strong ability to learn, explore, and innovate with complex technologies.

• Self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to set and work consistently towards personal goals in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others.
