Job Overview:
Responsible for the daily operation of the Diet Office, including maintaining workflow, daily routines, assignments, and monthly schedules. Responsible for recruiting all team members in the diet office. In addition, will be responsible for ensuring quality control and patient satisfaction. Will assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating all facets of the Diet Office to ensure all established standards for policies and procedures are met. Will need to assist with taking phone calls from patients for their meal selections. Will also assist in performance improvement activities. Will also be responsible for supervising the kitchen personnel.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associates or Bachelor s Degree from an accredited College or University is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent critical thinking skills.
Will interact with hospital staff, patients and visitors.
Preferred:
Two years of experience in a hospital Food Service Department is required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Scheduling Requirements: (if this can be added in the comments to HR section for each opening moving forward to help us with timely posting. I would include hours and weekend requirements here)
11:00 am 7:30 pm during the week/5:30 am 2:30 pm/12 pm 8:30 pm on weekends
May need to come in occasionally at an earlier time on the weekdays
Every other weekend/Holiday Rotation
