Position Summary

The Senior Manager Finance, Global Supply Chain will be responsible for supporting financial planning & analysis for the Global Supply Chain organization. This individual will be a financial business partner to Global Supply Chain leadership and their teams to provide strategic and tactical financial support, providing insights and advising on business cases, investment decisions and financial impacts. This individual will also work closely with the Finance Global Capabilities Center (GCC) to execute the budget, projection, and close processes for the Global Supply Chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial support to the Global Supply Chain organization.

  • Support key decisions and business cases with robust financial evaluation and analysis.

  • Monitor business performance, identify risks & opportunities, advising on areas of cost control and incremental investment.

  • Identify opportunities and helps drive best practices and optimization of financial processes, including standardization and simplification.

  • Enhance visualization and financial reporting to drive better insights into financial drivers and results

  • In collaboration with the Global Capabilities Center, manage the budget, projection and monthly/quarterly financial close process including analyzing and consolidating results. Key responsibilities include (1) reviewing and analyzing results vs budget, prior projection and prior year; (2) investigating and developing in-depth understanding of key variances.

  • Prepare financial analyses and presentations to support the core financial processes (e.g. budget, projection, close) and key financial initiatives and decisions

  • Manage special projects, ad-hoc analysis to ensure highly effective outcomes serving as a finacial advisor.

  • Maintain internal control environment to the highest standards of compliance and integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years diversified experience in accounting and finance

  • Experience with development of annual business plan/budget, financial projections

  • Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong financial and analytical skills

  • Operations expense management and/or inventory management preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger and budgeting systems preferred; particularly, the SAP suite, Oracle and TM1

  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required, Other visualization and analytical tools like Power BI and Tableau are highly desirable

  • High level of oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to be both clear and concise

  • Experience to interact with internal stakeholders at different management levels in the Corporation

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal finance colleagues and work effectively in a highly matrixed organization
