With worldwide Employee Related Obligations of approximately $7.1 Billion reported in 2023, this role will be responsible for coordinating financial consolidation, reporting, and disclosure of Global Pension and Post-Employment liabilities and expenses and other Domestic benefits financial administration.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing all Annual and Quarterly SEC Filing Disclosures related to Global Retirement Plans, and Post- Employment Benefits

  • Responsible for forecasting and allocation of Domestic benefits costs to affiliates

  • Analyzing information and researching accounting treatments for global affiliates and to project teams that support Acquisitions and Divestitures, Reorganizations, Etc.

  • Leading the preparation of 8 financial statements for Domestic Benefit Plans, coordinating with external parties including external auditors, and preparing Form 5500 Filings with the Department of Labor

  • Lead the coordination, consolidation and reporting of Global Headcount for Senior Management reviews

  • Provide analytical insights for Senior Management

Key Opportunities Include:

  • Understanding of International Plan’s, countries, and related accounting. Reconciling and analysis of International quarterly financial reporting

  • Refine & streamline processes to increase timeliness, accuracy, and understandability of the Global Benefits process

  • Research and document statutory accounting requirements for key countries

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.

  • Master’s/MBA degree preferred.

  • A CPA, CMA or other financial certifications are preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions).

  • Experience with SAP is preferred.

  • Technical accounting experience to include any of the following areas is preferred: SEC filings, 5500 filings, and pension plans

  • Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization as well as engage with external business on financial assumptions and outcomes.

  • Must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills.

  • The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required.

  • This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ, and may require up to 5% local domestic travel.

The base pay range for this position is $73,000 - $117,300

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
