Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Manager Casual for the School of Engineering.Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Provides research management of assigned duties and assure the progression of the research project as planned.
  • Communicates and collaborates with the PI, graduate students, and undergraduate students, regarding the relevant research topics, in order to maintain involvement in all facets of the project.
  • Accountable for major project decisions, protocols, experiments, data analysis, and management of student projects.
  • Demonstrates leadership role in forming and maintaining productive working relationships.
  • Trains students in relevant material characterization methods and data analysis.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering or related field plus a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in optical and photonic technologies and semiconductor materials.
