Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Think independently about long-term project and be able to come up with your own ideas about these projects with minimum supervision. It is expected that a postdoc will introduce new and innovative ideas to the lab work, often without any suggestions from the PI or other lab members. Intensive work with current literature is a must. Design short-term and long-term parts of the project and experiments on your own. Be able to interact with the PI and under his supervision make changes in the experimental design in a timely manner. Being able to work independently with minimum supervision and being able to train and supervise undergraduate and graduate students. |
