Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a critical role in the development of InfoLink, Crown’s global fleet management software solution

• Research and propose key elements of mobile application development such as business process advancements through mobility integrations, hybrid application development strategy, and application development frameworks such as Ionic

• Approach mobility with a holistic view balancing functional needs and corporate requirements

• Prepare program specifications, code, test, and debug computer applications

Remote Work: C rown offers mostly remote work for this position. A reasonable commute is desirable since occasional onsite work is required. Relocation assistance may be available.

Location: This position is based in our Troy, Ohio office with possible option to be based in our New Bremen, Ohio global headquarters. These locations are reasonably close to Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Toledo, and Cleveland.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Strong knowledge and experience with Angular, Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin, Java (Android), XCode, iOS SDK, Android SDK, and/or Android NDK

• Proficient interfacing with web services using n-tier patterns, using object-oriented patterns, using SQLite and local storage in a mobile application, and writing fully automated unit tests

• Good written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to occasionally travel with overnight stays

• Reliable transportation for occasional travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

• 5 or more years related mobile application development experience strongly preferred (Salary will commensurate with experience).

• Strong object-oriented programming skills, preferably in Ionic (cross-platform) framework using Angular, HTML5, Javascript, and CSS3

• Experience working in an Agile environment
