RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee, prioritize, and supervise departmental personnel as well as sub-contractors. Train and review work performance of employees. Provide guidance and assist subordinates in solving and/or answering maintenance problems and questions. Inspect facilities serviced to see that quality of work is maintained. Investigate complaints and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Locate, purchase or order electrical/plumbing/HVAC parts and supplies for repair of existing facilities and new construction projects. Read construction prints to order required materials.

  • Work directly with other Maintenance Departments and plant personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A two-year technical degree and five years of prior related experience is preferred.

  • Good interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge are desirable for this position.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
