Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves performing maintenance on blow mold machines, post blow machines, vertical cooling towers, Fanuc robots (including PM and programming), and HMI software on both Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and controls, and be able to start contributing immediately.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on 8 blow mold machines, 2 post blow machines, and 8 vertical cooling towers.

• Maintain and program Fanuc robots.

• Troubleshoot and maintain HMI software on Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.

• Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and controls.

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and repairs.

• Read and interpret blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical wiring, conveyors, and Fanuc robots.

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs.

• 5+ years of experience reading blueprints.

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and repair techniques.

• Experience with control systems and HMI programming.

• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Own tools required for maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

This is a clean and climate-controlled facility with union support. 2nd shift hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Shift premiums of $0.25 for 2nd shift and $0.35 for 3rd shift are available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Boston, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.10 - $32.45/hr.
