Tool Crib AttendantNew Bern, NC / Full-time

Your responsibilities:

• To maintain tool crib inventory with proper SAP transactions and physical material movement to ensure factory/production support.
• To maintain and ensure correct SAP transactions for each item movement type.
• Make transactions on a timely basis for all: Issues; SAP transaction and spare parts list follow-up and tracking material; Receipts; and Cycle count.
• To check physical stock for requestors and respond in a timely fashion.
• Investigate incorrect inventory and correct root cause with PUR support as required.
• Assist buyer in obtaining quotes once trained and familiar with that process.
• Keep buyer informed of any unusual requests or issues which affect service to factories.
• Assist factories as required to support special projects.
• Maintain and keep the assets, shelves and storing facilities in good and safe conditions reporting any problems immediately to manager or Safety supervisor.
• Support development of new processes and advanced development of new PUR technologies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the tool crib.
• Operate independently with extreme accuracy using above average written and verbal skills.
• Operate any equipment like forklift, tub jacket or other required according to safety standards, reporting any problems immediately to manager or Safety supervisor.
• Must be able to work various times and shifts based on production demands which may include weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your profile:

• High-School Diploma - Required
• Associate degree - Preferred
• 0-2 Years of Experience (General) - Required
• Knowledge of maintenance type materials
• Desire and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to operate independent of supervision with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Any of the above requirements/qualifications may be waived for the successful candidate.
• SAP knowledge a plus
