Chatsworth Products Inc Production Associate (2nd Shift) Paint Line in New Bern, North Carolina
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | JOB SUMMARY: | | | | The Production Associate performs tasks that require mainly physical | | abilities and effort. Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products | | manually or by mechanized means. Assists the production operators. | | Moves and transports raw materials and finished product. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: | | | | 1. Under minimal supervision, hangs fabricated parts on the conveyor | | paint line to engineering specifications, and prepares parts for | | painting. Removes parts from the line once painted. | | 2. Removes any debris from parts prior to hanging. | | 3. Determines best practice hanging methods to maximize paint | | quality and load density. | | 4. Inspects hooks for burn off lifecycles. | | 5. Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety | | requirements, including but not limited to all guarding. Corrects | | any safety issues prior to operating the equipment. | | 6. Inspects coated items for paint coverage and tests for coating | | thickness. | | 7. Performs some washer preventive maintenance tasks. | | 8. Cleans and maintains work area and equipment. | | 9.
