Express is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Diesel Fuel Injection Technician to join a family-owned business that has been committed to providing exceptional diesel services throughout Eastern North Carolina.

Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Diesel Fuel Injection Technician who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engine operations, specifically injectors and injection pumps, and be capable of repairing and testing remanufactured fuel injection components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and demonstrate knowledge of the functions and operations of diesel engines, particularly injectors and injection pumps.
• Clean, teardown, assemble, and test remanufactured fuel injection pumps and injectors.
• Use chemicals and mechanical methods to clean incoming pumps and injectors in accordance with company protocols.
• Disassemble cleaned assemblies using hand tools and small power tools as needed.
• Assemble pumps and injectors using various tools and equipment.
• Follow documented procedures and work instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
• Utilize a general toolset for repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
• Previous experience in diesel fuel injection or a related field is required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• A general toolset is required for the role.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the industry.

Wage:

Competitive wage based on experience, with a range of $18-$26 per hour.
