REXNORD HR Manager Plant Operations in NEW BERLIN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary:The Human Resources Manager position manages and supports all HR matters for plant operations of multiple sites within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions - Couplings Division. The sites that this role is responsible for include New Berlin, WI, Michigan City, IN, and Lincoln, NE, including an HR Generalist directly reporting into this role. The position is broad in scope and the successful incumbent will be energized in a hands-on leadership role.Integrity, neutrality, and trust, along with HR leadership, knowledge, and expertise are essential for this role to be successful. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop solid and trusting relationships with the functional leaders and associates at the locations that you support. Provides day-to-day direction in all aspects of human resources, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and performance management measures. Ensures that organizational practices and policies are consistently applied for the sites and are compliant with corporate policy and external government requirements. This includes driving company values and a safety culture. Responsible for structuring and driving improved culture, employee communications and engagement for the sites you support. Provide support to employees in various HR related topics and resolve any issues that may arise. Partners with assigned site leadership to understand and execute the Annual Operating Plans. Executes the Business Talent Review Process, through recruiting, retention, evaluation, and placement of key talent including succession planning, training, and development. Recruits, interviews, hires, and onboards new employees. Oversees the daily workflow of direct report, an HR Generalist. Upholds and influences consistent performance management of employees in accordance with company policy. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: Bachelor\'s degree in human resources or other business-related field or an equivalent amount of experience and education. Minimum of 7 years of human resource experience, including previous leadership experience. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Demonstrated personal integrity and the ability to build trust. Proven ability to multi-task for multiple conflicting priorities, stay organized, and work with strong attention to detail. Thorough understanding of state-specific employment laws as warranted, specifically for WI, IN, and NE. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
