This position reports to Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities Join ABB\'s fastest growing division as an Electrical Design Engineer, designing customized low and medium voltage variable frequency drive solutions for some of the world\'s most critical applications. From concept to completion, you\'ll ensure compliance, optimize designs, and deliver quality, cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: *Technical Contribution & Leadership: Create custom solutions according to customer specification for low and medium voltage system drives. Support design reviews, validate solutions, and adjust standard designs where necessary. Assists in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings. *Task Management & Collaboration: Identifies and prioritize customer requests to support project requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide innovative solutions to customer\'s technical problem while working closely with a dynamic team of engineers & technicians to execute projects that meet industry standards while maintaining exceptional quality and reliability. *Planning and Control: Follows work plans and cost estimates for work in electrical design responsibilities and ensure quality deliverables (Schematics, One-lines, BOMs, Manufacturing Instruction) on time and at targeted cost. *Processes and Tools: Adhere to ABB procedures, design methodology, and assist in developing new processes or tools to maximize quality and efficiency *Customer Engagement & Supply Chain Management: Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of design assignments.
