Robert Half is seeking to staff a Billing Specialist role for a New Berlin area organization. As the Billing Specialist you will create invoices, credit memos, update accounting records, customer information, and send payment reminders. If you are a dynamic Billing Specialist with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, this may be the role for you.

What you get to do every single day

• Maintain accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.

• Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed

• Answer requests from clients and vendors

• Manage payment reminders and contact customers if needed

• Engage with vendors/clients regarding billing adjustments

• Handle all customer accounts, check for outstanding debts, incorrect or incomplete information, or other problems

• Draw up needed information for bills receivable calculation

• Help customers and handle billing complaints

• Receive various types of payments (cash, online payments etc.) and check for accuracy

• Manage journal entries of adjustments to billings

• Put together reports for executives and senior managers

• Issue periodical customer account statements

• Provide customers with bills and invoices via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)

  Requirements - Microsoft Office knowledge required

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree preferred.
