ManpowerGroup Hardware Technician in New Albany, Ohio

Our client, a leading global eCommerce company, is seeking a Hardware Technician - Technical Support Technician I to join their team. As a Technical Support Technician I , you will be part of the Infrastructure Delivery department, supporting Infrastructure and Capacity Management Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude , excellent communication skills , and problem-solving abilities , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Hardware Technician - Technical Support Technician I

Location: New Albany, Ohio

Contract Duration: 3–11 months.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.04/hr.

What’s the Job?

  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cable infrastructure, including patch panels and cords.

  • Ensure data center and vendor installations comply with established installation standards.

  • Manage tasks and priorities through ticketing systems, providing updates and reports.

  • Move enterprise equipment from loading docks to designated positions and maintain inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with vendors to manage delivery and installation of materials daily.

What’s Needed?

  • Strong understanding of server, switch, and network device installation and troubleshooting, both hardware and software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet project deadlines.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
