Job Summary

Responsible for the development of business processes to be used in applications and development of functional specifications.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design and develop functional specifications and user interfaces for application enhancements.

  • Develop business processes to be used in applications and develop functional specifications with minimal direction from senior staff.

  • Prepare business case documentation.

  • Prioritize work and provide some functional direction to IT applications staff.

  • Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing - Develop test plans, test cases and coordinate the application release process.

  • Develop training plans, training materials and coordinate training of application users.

  • Assist support staff in investigating and resolving application issues.

  • Work with business unit employees to define, analyze, design, and document business processes and associated applications.

  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees across the corporation in the proper use of applications.

  • Coordinate changes with other applications and ensure compliance with functional and architectural standards.

  • Lead application projects including budget development and management, schedule development and tracking, status reporting and resolution of project issues.

  • Provide all levels of administrative support including configuration, technical product support, user guidance, installation, system monitoring, test planning, testing, problem diagnosis, issue tracking, issue resolution, and routine maintenance as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related field.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: Ten (10) years or more in project management, business analysis, or IT with Bachelor’s Degree, twelve (12) years or more in project management, business analysis, or IT with Associate’s Degree.

Preferred Skills/Certifications:

  • Previous Dispatch System experience

  • Product Owner Certification

  • Functions as a role model in a team environment; advanced level of proficiency in analysis and design and coaching team members.

  • Demonstrates good listening skills and a sincere understanding of client business needs.

  • Asks questions to clarify understanding.

  • Relates on a personal level; positive, friendly and engaging.

  • Outgoing and comfortable in diverse groups.

  • Uses communications technology effectively, balancing with appropriate face to face communications.

  • Able to read reactions of an audience and adjust delivery style to fit the audience.

  • Able to develop and present business documents and reports clearly, concisely, and effectively.

  • Demonstrate strong training and presentation skills.

  • Credible and confident public speaker.

SP20-008

Compensation Range:

$94,225.00-122,490.00 USD
