Job Description
Our Delivery Managers are a core member of a delivery team and provide project management expertise to the full portfolio of work for the team. They apply agile project management skills to plan and organize the intake, planning and delivery of project and non-project deliverables for a given team(s). Delivery managers may manage their teams portion of a larger project in collaboration with the overall project manager. Managing communications and cross-functional alignment and visibility is a key responsibility of the role.
This role is a Delivery Manager for the Digital Experience and Services teams who deliver customer facing experiences and back-end services for our website, customer apps and associate apps.
This role is a Delivery Manager for our Tech Services teams who deliver network, infrastructure, cloud and operational services to A&F.
This role is a Delivery manager for our Global Data teams who deliver data platform, integrations and reporting services to A&F.
B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area preferred
Experience in technical project mgmt or consulting; retail experience a must, specifically in marketing technology (CRM, CDP, email, loyalty, etc.) specifically in data, integrations and reporting technology (PBI, Snowflake, etc.)
Prior experience in a technical role (development, integrations, infrastructure, or operations).
Expertise with JIRA and Microsoft Project
Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite products
Strong budget management and capacity management skills utilizing Excel, MS Project and other tools
Strong business, leadership, planning and organizational skills
Proven experience in agile project management with multiple workstreams
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills
Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus
Ability to work and deliver in a fast paced, changing environment with a presence to adjust to situations that could involve conflicting goals
Ability to collaborate and effectively manage a dispersed team and prioritize work
Display a leadership approach of teaming up to collaboratively drive work forward
Pay Rate - 60-70

Skills and Requirements
Manage intake of work into team
o Develop clear and simplified processes for new work to come to the team for scoping, estimation and prioritization
o Ensure roles & responsibilities in the intake process are understood across all team members (product owners, tech leads/managers, scrum masters, etc.)
o Ensure the intake workflow includes approved projects, new ideas, proof-of-concepts and ad-hoc requests
o Ensure resource effort and cost estimates are identified to develop a holistic view of capacity to drive efficiencies
o Define and communicate critical milestones to the delivery teams, initiative project managers and stakeholders. Including providing inputs to scrum masters for quarterly planning and utilization of JIRA to maintain traceability of requests
Manage all aspects of assigned projects and non-project deliverables for the team, including planning, scheduling, communication, execution and completion.
o Create and maintain project Feature level plans that identify the activities required to complete the prioritized initiative along with activity dependencies, and resource capacity constraints.
o Revise project plan as needed to maintain alignment with cross-impacted projects and business strategy.
o Leverage JIRA tasks / details to track work and monitor progress.
o Ensure complete understanding of business needs and processes.
Monitors and controls initiative scope, schedule, milestones, budget, and risk.
o Responsible for internal and external resource management, budgeting and cost containment
o Manage detailed budget tracker with plan, actuals and forecast within approved tolerance; manage vendor SOWs per plan and support Financial reporting needs
o Develop and control timelines, including regularly assessing and mitigating risks throughout the plan by removing blockers and escalating issues
o Develop get-well plans that are actionable, assigned and time-bound; escalate with urgency to meet delivery expectations
o Collaborate across the teams to confirm resource availability, and maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the program
o Maintain detailed decision and change log
Build strong relationships as a critical member of the team
o Develop a deep understanding of the business process and opportunity to drive desired outcomes
o Partner with multiple business and technical functions to deliver a cohesive initiative plan
o Understand goals, impacts and interdependencies to creatively problem solve constraints
o Work across the organization to connect teams and serve as a point of escalation
o Drive to decisions with a sense of urgency to remove blockers and create efficiencies
o Help teams navigate conflict utilizing facts and data to achieve outcomes
Provide transparent communication to leadership on status, issues, risks, and required decisions across the program
o Lead team meetings and clearly convey initiative goals and requirements
o Communicate with stakeholders to bridge the technology gap by using terms and concepts familiar to stakeholders.
o Facilitate team meetings to achieve an expected outcome and enable decision-making. This includes meeting preparation, capturing actions from meetings, and facilitating group activities (e.g., brainstorming, whiteboarding)
