ManpowerGroup CAD Designer in New Albany, Ohio

Our client, an electric utility company is seeking a Trans Right of Way Agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, conflict management and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

CAD Designer

Pay Rate: $23-27/hr.

Location: New Albany, OH

Duration : 12-month contract, potential to convert

Hybrid Work Schedule

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare maps using computer aided drafting via sketches, schematics, and other engineering related drawings.

  • Create, revise, and maintain detailed engineering and record drawings, maps, and sketches using AutoCAD.

  • Perform mathematical calculations required to accomplish assigned work.

  • Operate reproduction machines, plotters, and other duplicating equipment.

  • Promote and support the Company’s’ Accidnet Prevention and Safety and Health programs.

  • Read vendors’ prints, shop and other drawings, and equipment operating instruction, and incorporate that information in the work being performed.

  • Prepare and review plan and profile drawings.

  • Prepare right of way and condemnation drawings.

Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in applied science, drafting and computer aided design or in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering technology.

  • HS diploma w/ 4 years of relevant experience in electrical utility and/or related industrial drafting and/or computer aided drafting.

  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required.
