The Position

Public Service Interns receive training and complete a variety of assignments in staff activities directly relating to their major course of study while enrolled in an educational institution.

Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.

This position will support the Technology Investment Notification (TIN) Administrator/Enterprise Architect within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, under the Nevada Office of the Governor, Office of the CIO. The selected candidate will work under general supervision to support the TIN process by performing administrative tasks using the Microsoft Power Suite and other custom tools. The position will research assigned topics then generate reports and analysis for executive level managers. Reports will be presented in PowerPoint over Teams or in person. Other duties include routine administrative task such as tracking Budget Division updates and relating them to the TIN system, participation in enterprise architecture projects, creating documentation for the IT Portfolio, and brainstorming solutions. To Qualify:

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree related to the field of employment and enrollment and continued successful performance in an academic graduate program related to the field of employment at an accredited college or university.

Special Requirements

A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
