Actalent Controls Systems Engineer in Neptune, New Jersey
Exciting opportunity from someone who enjoys travel! This position will be roughly 80% travel.
Description:
· Commission new automation systems: responsibility for testing and debugging new automation systems, ensuring that they function as intended before they are handed over to the client. Requires working closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, and other members of the automation team
· Provide technical support as the first point of contact for clients who experience technical issues with their automation systems, troubleshooting problems and providing solutions, either remotely or by visiting the client's site
· Responsible for maintenance and upgrades, ensuring that clients' automation systems continue to function properly over time which may involve performing routine maintenance tasks, upgrading software or hardware components, and providing training to clients' employees
Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of controls / automation engineering experience
Experience with starting up & commissioning a system
Scada programming experience
