Tri-County Career Center Career Intervention Coach in Nelsonville, Ohio
Responsibilities: Stay up to date on college readiness information and work with students to enroll in college. Facilitate instruction based on FASFA inquiries. Coach with support of ACT/SAT testing for students. Support PBIS strategies which may be through in-school suspension or one on one tutoring with students. Support students with credit recovery. Support students with direction on possible career pathways. Coordinate Career-Tech support for home school; and work with home schools on career exploration efforts. Work with IEP team to support staff and students.
Qualifications: Business and Industry related experiences, and experience working in a school setting. Background in Education or related field with work experience preferred. Experience working with challenging students. Starting Date: Remainder of 2024-2025 School Year Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day during the school year with possible other school events in the evening or summer
