JOB REQUIREMENTS: Human Resources Advisor Clark County Wisconsin Neillsville, WI Purpose of Position: This position performs human resources work in the areas of employee relations support, job analysis and description review and development, equal opportunity and civil rights compliance, human resources research and analysis, confidential document review and recommendation; preparation, review, and analyses of countywide personnel policy and procedures; and investigation of discrimination and harassment complaints. assists and advises managers about Human Resources issues. Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources Management or a related field. Three (3) years of work experience in Human Resources Management. Experience working with employee development, training, discipline, performance evaluation, conducting internal investigations, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action programs. Training and experience using a personal computer with a variety of software including Microsoft Office. Desired: Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration. Experience in public sector of human resource management. Knowledge of local government practices and procedures. Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification. Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Any combination of education and experience will be considered. Primary Responsibilities (Illustrative Only): The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Assists employees and management with the interpretation and correct application of County policies, procedures, and programs while exercising the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
