HOW YOU WILL DO IT Purpose Statement: Responsible to define the strategic roadmap for the Materials organization and lead the Supply Chain Specialists in the development of strategies to fulfill the roadmap objectives. Provide project management support for the implementation of the developed strategies. Provide project management support in strategic process integration of acquired companies. Reports to the UK Operations Director. Key Job Accountabilities: Work directly with customers, suppliers, and Material Team Managers to identify and implement solutions that provide optimal return to Plexus while maximizing customer service levels Collaborate with Supply Chain Solutions and Site/Regional supply chain teams in the analysis and design of supply chain strategies; including but not limited to programs that optimize inventory levels and locations, provide reduced lead time, buffer stock, addition of alternate manufacturers, dampening forecast variability Provide strategy, direction, and governance in Material Team Manager (MTM) center of excellence including training and supply chain optimization dashboard Provide reactive support to Sites to resolve Plexpedite constraints with urgency while continuously improving time to closure Develop new strategies to minimize overall Supply Chain risk to Plexus Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating...
