NEENAH FOUNDRY CO Production Supervisor in NEENAH, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Supervisors provide first-line leadership for a team of hourly non-exempt employees on an assigned shift in a Foundry manufacturing environment. Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Schedule Attainment are key accountabilities and metrics in the performance of this job. Time and attendance in a Kronos automated payroll system on a daily business to measure labor costs are essential as well. Facilitates meetings, documenting productivity gains and recognizing employees for quality improvement accomplishments, ensuring that production rates are met and standard processes are being followed. Will lead problem-solving efforts, coach team members in resolving conflicts and achieving results, and provide ongoing training. Will be responsible for these activities across shifts. Goal attainment on Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Profitability KPI\'s on a regular basis 100Total Percent (not to exceed 100%) Demonstrated ability in interviewing, coaching, counseling, motivating, training, and communicating objectives. Must have a demonstrated history of high achievement and organized work habits. Must be able to deal with issues with multiple variables such as process improvement and resolution of poor performance on an individual or department basis. Demonstrated ability in managing budgets and capacity. Must be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication across different levels and departments. Effectively manages performance and confronts issues directly. Must be able to assertively involve employees by coaching and facilitating interaction across dept. Must be able to work within a team environment not only within the organization unit but also across departments and shifts. Develops employees by ensuring proper training and providing ongoing feedback and coaching. Strong knowledge of Quality Specifications using identification, data gathering solution development, implementation and follow-up skills. A Bachelor\'s Degree in a business or engineering discipline or equivalent work experience is preferred.
