As our Card Services Specialist, you will:
Enter/verify new card orders, balance transfer, and maintenance requests on the credit card system. Review information for accuracy and proper approvals.
Handle card control issues including: tracking and ordering inventory and monitoring card activation. Maintain information on returned cards.
Perform maintenance on expiring cards and prepares them for reissue.
Monitor unusual activity on card accounts using software and report tools. Process debit card bond claims. Monitor credit card bond claims. Pull, review, and prepare close out packages for approval to charge off.
Complete ATM terminal balancing and adjustments. Monitor terminal performance and status.
Pull various credit card settlement reports, post entries, and resolve exception items in all plastics-related ledger accounts.
Resolve exception items resulitng from teh daily debit card settlement balancing.
Review debit card order and maintenance files, resolve reject entries, and approve for submission. Validate the following business day.
Compile data and complete multiple daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
An ideal candidate will have a combination of:
Two year degree; two+ years financial services/office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of credit/debit cards helpful.
Honed communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write clear correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and members of the organization.
Proven technological aptitude with a mindset of continuous learning of new systems and tools.
