Yard Laborer - Tank Cleaning

Position Summary: The Yard Laborer primarily works under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Fleet Maintenance Manager, or a Supervisor. This role focuses on cleaning and maintaining industrial equipment, including roll-off boxes, frac tanks, and berms. The Yard Laborer ensures that all tasks are completed in a safe, efficient, and thorough manner while adhering to company, regulatory, and manufacturer standards.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the work area and other designated spaces in a neat and orderly condition.

  • Clean and maintain industrial equipment according to company and manufacturer standards, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations before equipment is dispatched to customers.

  • Complete all documentation, registrations, and data entry associated with cleaning, inspection, and maintenance tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Enter confined spaces to perform cleaning tasks, adhering to all confined space entry (CSE) protocols and procedures.

  • Assist with minor equipment repairs when necessary, including light welding work.

  • Operate forklifts and yard mules to move equipment and materials around the facility as needed.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment cleaning and maintenance as they arise.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A valid Driver’s License is required.

  • Reliable mode of transportation to arrive for shifts

  • Ability to lift heavy objects

  • Can withstand working out in the elements
