Honeywell Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Nebraska City, Nebraska
As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will develop and oversee the implementation of efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional leadership, including production, quality, design, and maintenance, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing operations, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest level of product quality for Honeywell.
You will report directly to our Director of AME and you'll work out of our Nebraska City location on an onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and leadership will drive operational excellence and contribute to the success and growth of our organization. You will be a problem solver, a team builder, and a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers to optimize manufacturing operations
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and process improvements
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence driven by data analysis, digitalization and document improvements by using performance dashboards.
Define Manufacturing strategy and roadmap for the site by executing Capital Expenditure projects aiming to improve operational efficiency and reduce cost.
YOU MUST HAVE
6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
Expert knowledge of process improvement and lean manufacturing principles
Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Digitalization experience by using different systems such as Ignition, Vorne, Factbird devices
Experience in business intelligence software such as PowerBi or Tableau
Strong data analysis acumen
Automation experience by using or implementing robotics, vision systems, data acquisition devices, PLC controls
