Omaha Public Power District Intern - Summer (May-Aug) Maintenance/Craft - NE City Sta in Nebraska City, Nebraska

Department: Energy Production - NE City Maintenance

Location: Nebraska City Station

Duration: Summer (May - Aug) 2025

Other: Hiring Two Interns

Work Schedule: [Monday-Thursday - 6:30am - 4:30pm] or [Monday-Friday - 6:30am - 3:00pm] (40 hours a week)

Pay: $17.19 - $21.02 (per hour)

Job Responsibilities:

Support craft with plant maintenance. With one of the 4 disciplines, Electrical, Instrument and control, Steamfitters or Machinist.

Qualifications

Specific fields of study required:

Prefer someone with an applicable line of study to the craft - Electrical field, Instrument and control, Welding or Machining

2.5 GPA or higher is required

Will need to be physically fit to work in the power plant environment, Team player. and

Good communication

Current full-time student attending an accredited college/university
