You can be a part of making an awesome product! Position Summary: The Production Trainer will perform training-related tasks involved in the production process. This position will train new employees in all aspects of their duties. This role will follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as safe as possible while meeting expected outputs. Core Functions: Train new employees in all aspects of the production line and daily duties. This may include, but is not limited to: Train and support the trainee through all assembly or machine operations performed. Train employee on the safe operation of ALL equipment used. Communicate and ensure understanding of production goals and performance expectations. Train and support employees transitioning to new positions. Train on electronic and paperwork orders. Ensure employees follow safety guidelines and safe work practices. Complete all required paperwork. Complete training record checklists. Maintain quality product by knowing and understanding current procedures and standard work practices. Responsible for participating in developing, documenting, and reinforcing best practices. Identify process or tooling gaps. Validate work instructions/processes developing best practices. Lead group training sessions. Provide initial training support for other departments (Shipping, Receiving, Hardware, etc.). Support the Job Safety Analysis program. Assist HR with onboarding and employee related needs. Participate in new hire orientation. Perform plant tours for individuals during the interview or new hire process. Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of employees. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 1-3 years of related experience required. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word. Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints. Strong communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to perform basic math. Must be able to read and interpret tape measurements accurately. Proficient in various production job roles preferred. Knowledge of Visual ERP preferred. Bilingual ability preferred. Travel: Occasional travel is required, especially between local ARE facilities (within a 15-mile radius of one another).
