Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will serve as the Site Security Supervisor, Security Programs Division, and recognized as a security subject matter expert. You will prepare and manage the administrative procedures for the issuance of security clearances, submission of required investigations, evaluation of investigative results, initiates suitability and security determinations You will plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordinates. You will carry out EEO policies to assure that qualification determinations, selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, discipline, and awards are made/given without discrimination. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include the following Processing access to classified material in accordance with regulations; Ensuring that determinations are made on the suitability and security eligibility of individuals for entry in sensitive and non-sensitive positions; Advising management personnel on every phase of the information, personnel, industrial and physical security program for an organization; Managing, implementing, and directing an organization's physical security and loss prevention program which includes developing and maintaining comprehensive physical security instructions; Assessing and evaluating security measures in areas designated for storage of classified matter, materials of highly pilfer able or hazardous nature and those vulnerable to threat and sabotage; Advising and directing in matter regarding the eligibility of personnel to access classified information and is assigned to sensitive duties.
