Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST (ALCOHOL & DRUG CONTROL OFFICER) of NAVMEDFORLANT PORTSMOUTH VA. Responsibilities You will review and interpret DON policies and regulations to provide effective and sound guidance and advice to executive and senior management. You will develop and lead teams to solve problems/issues. You will effectively communicate (orally and written) to DON senior military leaders and civilian representatives. You will review and interpret established directives, instructions, and technical guidance to determine their impact on the organization and its programs. You will analyze data and conduct trend analysis on drug and alcohol regional data and overall program compliance. You will utilize ADMITS, IFTDTL and WebDTP in order to pull reports and generate correspondence. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in analyzing and evaluating programs, including responsibility for measuring and improving program effectiveness and efficiency. Experience utilizing computer systems and software programs to analyze data, manipulate information, and produce detailed reports. Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets to support decision-making processes for leadership.
