Summary You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the Real Estate Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND ATLANTIC Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities You will perform, plan, direct and advise for real property for acquisition, management, and disposal of real property. You will perform disposal procedures of real estate in the best interests of the Government. You will manage real property to attain its highest and best use. You will conduct site visits to out-granted land and/or facilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To be considered for the GS-11 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing consultation and real estate advice to leadership, planners, architects and engineers in the development of requirements and planning for real estate; 2) Preparing real estate reports or special studies; 3) Receiving, evaluating, assigning priorities, and processing realty actions; 4) Completing various tasks associated with major and minor acquisitions by negotiated sale, condemnation, deed transfer, or withdrawal; 5) Providing advice or assistance for real estate projects in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970. To be considered for the GS-09 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing real estate approval documentation for contract execution; 2) Assessing underutilized real property and recommending out-grants, reassignment or transfer; 3) Preparing resulting documents necessary to accomplish the out-grant, reassignment or transfer; 4)Creating and updating records and querying reports in e-Projects and RES Inventory. OR You must have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
