United States Fleet Forces Command SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in Naval Base, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Combat Systems (Electronis) Division Code 290, Chief Engineer Code 200A, Engineering Department Code 200, Mid=Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Responsibilities You will monitor to ensure consistency and compliance. You will make timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. You will plan work to be accomplished, set and adjust short term priorities and prepare work completion schedules. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning work to be accomplished, setting and adjusting short term priorities and preparing work completion schedules. Experience preparing job descriptions, developing and evaluating subordinate employee's performance standards and appraisals. Experience with all EEO programs in place to maintain a safe, productive and healthy work environment for all employees under his/her charge. Experience monitoring and maintaining technical compliance of all Divisional work through active engagement with direct reports. Experience providing technical review of products and services provided by the Division to ensure their technical and political suitability and serviceability is aligned with the customer's needs and the technical standards applicable for Naval vessels. Experience collaborating with other MARMC senior managers for successful adjudication of technical issued shared across divisions boundaries as well as providing leadership and fostering a highly effective work environment that rewards/promotes teamwork. Experience with financial and business management functions and directing reports in establishing workload and resource requirement projections. Experience managing resource allocations to execute work within the constraints of established financial controls.
