Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER (COMPLIANCE) in Naval Air Station San Diego, California

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager (Compliance) in the Compliance Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will make the general business and technical management decisions for successful execution of the assigned programs. You will establish detailed initial and long-range Fleet Readiness Center program objectives and compliance with formally established requirements. You will ensure the analysis of systems and program performance in relation to the required performance standard and directs corrective actions when appropriate. You will coordinate with other FRC departments to develop, evaluate, prioritize, and implement physical infrastructure requirements at the FRC in support of the OSH and radiation safety program. You will apply auditing principles, continuous process improvement methodologies and critical trend analysis to monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality practices and corrective actions. You will be responsible for managing execution year financial resources within the assigned budgetary targets. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring compliance with ISO, OSHA, NAMP, Quality Environmental standards, and aviation safety at a large Industrial Activity (FRC, ALC, Commercial MRO, etc). 2) Communicating, coordinating, building coalitions and collaborating across organizations to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals. 3) Prioritizing work efforts of a team based on requirements, objectives and personnel and direct budgetary constraints. 4) Establishing and executing a budget, managing execution year financial resources within the assigned budgetary targets. 5) Operating with limited resources. 6) Demonstrating the ability to look forward and think ahead for solutions to future issues that might develop, formulates objectives and priorities and implements plans consistent with long-term interests of the organization in a global environment that takes into consideration the environment, resources, capabilities, constraints, and organizational goals and values.
