Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, SECURITY DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Responsibilities You will maintain records management for Continuous Evaluation (CE). You will document maintenance for follow up actions with DCSA CAS submissions. You will ensure that contractors meet security requirements per contract and FRCSE access. You will serve as the primary security representative for contractor verifications, DISS owner/servicing, and DD Form 254 Classified Contract Reviews Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Monitoring, facilitating and implementing policy and procedures for Industrial Security to ensure compliance; Processing and adjudicating contractor background investigations and resolving complex security issues on unfavorable clearance determinations; Maintaining records for Security Education Program records to include new contractor orientation briefings; Planning and carrying out security programs to exchange information and to provide advice and assistance on proper installation and safeguarding of personnel investigative files, classified information, and industrial contracts; and Providing assistance to units to upgrade security by conducting surveys and/or inspections to determine if accounting and control procedures are adequate.
