ActionLink is seeking a detailed, client-focusedFull-Time Reporting Analystto offer strategic and tactical support to our organization by analyzing, interpreting, and reporting consumer and financial data within one of our valued client accounts.
Position Overview
The Reporting Analyst is responsible for analyzing the consumer data, value, competitive intelligence, and financial statistics of the assigned client program to determine current status versus metrics and suggest methods of improvement. This individual interprets results using a variety of techniques ranging from simple data aggregation and statistical analysis to complex data mining. The Reporting Analyst will work closely with the ActionLink and Client project teams and will report directly to ActionLink's Director of Business Intelligence. Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the retail and 3PL fields is a plus. The ability to work independently without direct supervision, meet strict timelines, and ensure precision and accuracy in all reporting deliverables is paramount.

Duties
Responsible for analysis of client program's Key Performance Indicators:
Sell-thru performance targets
In-store market share targets
Targeted recommendation rate
Excellence in merchandising quality
Perform data analysis on sales data as leadership requests
Use sound statistical methods to accurately identify control stores and measure sales performance
Track employee performance and reports for numerous projects
Track and report project profitability
Assist with budgets and preparation
Assist data team with various data related requests
Share knowledge of analysis techniques and data with leadership teams
Compile weekly business reports for ActionLink and Client leadership teams
Collaborate with ActionLink and Client leadership teams to increase profitability
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant reporting or quantitative business analysis experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant combination of quantitative education and experience
Familiar with SQL (writing SQL queries), ODBC Data Access
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office software with strong emphasis utilizing Excel
Significant experience with data visualization techniques and presentation
Experience with Business Intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
Demonstrates high degree of business acumen and detail orientation
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to interface with corporate and client teams
Positive attitude and the ability to engage well with co-workers, customers, vendors and other collaborators
Ability to multi-task and work productively in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines
Must be able to travel locally by vehicle and/or nationally by plane (only periodically as needed or requested)
Must have access to a quiet workspace with reliable high speed internet and smartphone
Must maintain high level of confidentiality
